No, these were not a good hole cards for Omaha Hi hand, neither for Omaha Lo. These were not good cards for me - I never play with cards like this (10c-9s-5c-3d)! So, I just folded this hand before the flop. But, when I saw the flop I wasn’t sure I made a good decision. Three of a kind is smiling, two Nines on the flop and one Nine in my hand. In a couple of seconds the turn card shows up. I could not believe my eyes. Now, the four of a kind is not smiling – it’s actually laughing at me!
The river card was not important anymore, because the four of a kind was still laughing, telling me that I should play this hand. And I should because this was Omaha Hi/Lo Limit poker game and the blinds were very small in this stage. I am still very angry on myself for folding this time!
