Maybe I’m a Newbie but You don’t Own this Table Posted by rebecca , under: Omaha Hi Pot Limit, Omaha Poker Hands

I just took a seat at this Omaha Hi Pot Limit poker table. My hole cards were double suited (Ah-7h-2c-4c). With these cards I could go for a flush or for a straight, so I called. Since everybody folded this hand chip leader wanted to scare me off with his pot-raise. Well, I was a newbie at the table, but I don’t get scared that easily. LOL. So many times I was witnessing chip leader’s bad bluffs. Not that I was sure about his bluffing, but there was a chance. As much as he wanted to scare me, I wanted to see the flop.

Hm, there was a rainbow on the flop, but I had two pair, Aces and Fours. Of course I need to pay another chip leader’s bet if I want to see another card. Another Four brought me a Full House, Fours full of Aces. And again he wanted more money. Since I had a Full House, it will be my pleasure to call his bet. BTW, it was my all in.

Unbelievable, he was raising all the time. I mean, he had great hole cards, but after the flop he only had a pair of Aces. After the turn card he had two pair, Aces and Fours. Come on dude, I had a two pair after the flop too. And all that chips you are giving on two pair in Omaha? That’s crazy! Anyway, thanks. I doubled up my chips in one hand because you are such a bad bluffer.
