Here is another pocket pair show and tell. This was Omaha Hi Pot Limit poker session, and I had pocket Kings, with K-5 in Hearts, and an off suit deuce as a weak link. Flop raised my hopes for flush but the 3-5-7 lead me to decision to fold this hand. What a great decision that was!
To be honest, I folded this hand on the turn, since now there is a Full House potential as well, not to mention someone could have a straight from start. My overpair looks very weak. Also, I would shoot myself in the head if someone had a A-something in hearts too. True, I could hope for a King, but I didn’t felt that lucky.
At the end, as you can see - one player had Three of a Kind, Threes, and the other one completed a straight 5-9.
So, instead of losing all my money, I lost only one big blind, which was a success at the moment, since I was far from lucky this entire week.
