Here is what happens when you’re big blind and other players don’t want to spend an extra penny. True, it was a small pot - but look at my cards, please! I had a rainbow hand (Qh-6s-4d-3c) in this Omaha Hi Pot Limit poker hand. My hand was screaming FOLD ME please! 6 players were involved in the hand and no one raised a dime till the end.
Funniest thing was the moment after the turn when I figured out I could hit a straight here. And when it came, I couldn’t stop laughing. These guys let me see a river with the worst cards ever. Since I was first to act after the river I pot-raised and everybody folded.
That’s the price you pay if you don’t raise on something when everybody are quiet. I promise I would fold on one-blind raise before the river.
