I thought it only happens to me, but I finally got somebody quartered. It’s a common thing for Omaha Hi/Lo poker, and one of the reasons I don’t play it very often.
If you take a look at my hole cards, I had Ad-Ks-9s-3s and since this is Omaha Hi/Lo Pot Limit Poker table, these were quite good. I had A-3 for the low and A-K and K-9 suited to fight for the hi piece of the pot. It wasn’t an aggressive hand till the turn, but then the raising begun. I called a pot-raise from my opponent, since I had a great low-pot potential and also a Two Pair, Kings over Nines for the hi. Community cards were so broken, that no straight of higher couldn’t be created. On the river things got hectic and with one re-raise and my opponent’s call, the pot was built good.
At the showdown, things were very clear - he got quartered, since I won a hi pot and we split the low. Almost perfect!
