Bluff on a Pair of Kings Posted by rebecca , under: Omaha Hi Pot Limit, Omaha Poker Hands
Even we are talking about Omaha Poker and how much fun this game can bring, this table was very strange. Whenever I had good hole cards, I missed the flop in total. But I decided to change that in this Omaha Hi Pot Limit poker hand.
My hole cards were very good Kd-Ks-As-2s, but off course I missed the flop again Qd-6s-Jc. This time I decided not to fold and wanted to see what a little bit of bluff could bring me. So, I raised a whole pot. Silly me, but I was really tired of bad cards. Some of the players followed my bet. Turn card was a disaster, but it couldn’t stop me in my bluffing plan now. I raised again. Only one player stayed in this hand. River card – in my case wasn’t worth of mentioning. And now I had no idea what am I supposed to do. If I just checked, my opponent could notice I had nothing! A pair of Kings in Omaha is ridiculous.
I raised a whole pot again and it worked!. My opponent folded. Lucky me. I would be so embarrassed if somebody caught me in bluffing! Not my style of play!
