My hole cards in this Omaha Hi/Lo Limit poker hand were Ad-3h-6h-7s. I was hoping for a nice flop with low cards. Actually, flop was Ac-8s-9h and I wasn’t happy because of an Ace on the board. I already had an Ace in my hand so Ace on the flop doesn’t suite me at all. But, I stayed in this hand because I had a chance for a straight. Turn card brought another Eight in community cards. Too much re-raising around me brought a suspicion that one player probably had a full house. Even though I knew I still had a chance for a straight I decided to fold.
That was a great decision because my opponent got a full house on the river and if I didn’t fold I would have only a straight. I followed my instinct and at the end it showed up like a right decision. Other opponent won low with a A-2-3-5-8.
