Flop Nuts Lasted Until the River Posted by rebecca , under: Omaha Hi/Lo Limit, Omaha Poker Hands
Today wasn’t my day. My hole cards in this Omaha Hi/Lo Limit Poker hand were 2c-3d-5d-10s. Flop cards were 3s-5s-5c. Flop nuts! Isn’t that great? I had a full house, Fives full of Threes. Turn card was Three of Clubs. I still had a best high hand and I was hoping that it will stay that way. Off course I don’t even need to mention that I was betting all the time!
River card was Ace of Spades. Hmmmm. There were couple of variations which could beat me - pocket Aces or Ace and Five combined. Yes, there was a possibility for a Straight Flush in which I really didn’t believe somebody had.
The moment of truth has come. I was still hoping for the pot, but unfortunately one opponent had Ace and Five! He had a full house, Fives full of Aces! He won! I was beaten! Oh, I call that bad luck! The other opponent won low with A-2-3-4-5. Well that’s Poker! I am sure I would chase them away if this was pot limit or no limit game for sure!
