You can’t just bluff, raise and hope for the best in Omaha Poker. You need to know how to that in order to convince everybody you’re strong. In this Omaha Hi Pot Limit Poker hand I stumbled upon a player that didn’t have what it takes for a good bluff.

As you can see, I hit top two pair on the flop. However, with the flush peaking from it, I decided not to bet a dime. My opponent raised a bit on the flop, and I called since it was cheap. Then came the turn card. He had bet again, but not much, so I called that bet as well. On the river card he went berserk and pot raised. And, just before I clicked the fold button I looked at the table for the one last time… and asked myself - what DID you hit my friend?

There is virtually nothing on the table. No straight, no flush, no nothing. I didn’t believe he had a set of Aces or Kings since he would raise much, much more. Only thing he could had is a set of Deuces, but I found that highly unlikely. So I re-raised a whole pot.

He though about it for a second and called. What a poor bluff - he had only an Ace. So, this bluff was so see-through and off-target I just couldn’t believe what he tried.

Bad bluff. Very bad.
