This was Omaha Hi Pot Limit Poker tournament. My hole cards in this hand were 3h-4d-5h-6c. I was hoping to hit a straight so I called my opponent’s pre flop bet. River cards were 2d-Qh-4h. My opponent had bet a whole pot and I called because I had a feeling that next card will be the right one! And it was. With that five I had a straight!
My opponent had bet again, the other player called and I raised a whole pot which was more then their all in. They called! When I saw their cards I was so happy but if any card of Hearts shows up on the river I will be beaten!
Guess what the river card was?! King of Hearts! Unbelievable!! My opponent won! Luckily he won just a main pot, rest of the chips were mine! I won almost half a pot, not bad! The only one who lost was the player who had straight also but the weaker one!
